a Division of the
Shluchim Placement Bureau.
The Couples Placement Bureau is designed for couples looking to join the ranks of Shluchim, and for Shluchim looking to hire on a permanent basis.

- Following your interview, you will become part of the 'Shlichus Network'.

How It Works:
 The Bureau maintains a detailed database of couples looking for Shlichus work and the particular fields they are interested in: adult education, youth programming, campus outreach, etc. The database is updated constantly, as more and more couples contact The Shluchim Office looking for placement.
In the interest of confidentiality, the couples database is for office-use only and is not made available to Shluchim. Shluchim who are looking to hire on a long-term/permanent basis may send in a description of the position they are looking to fill with details describing the type of work involved, the dynamics of the city, the specific requirements on the part of the couple, etc.
The  Shluchim Office Staff handle each job description, matching it to the couples on the database and forwarding it to those whose interests match the Shliach's job description. If the position appeals to the couple, they will then send their official resume to the Bureau, to be passed on to the Shliach, who reviews them and then arranges, together with Shluchim Office Staff, for an interview with each couple. |
